He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and began his professional career in insurance in 1992. His experience spans both insurance intermediation and the insurer side of the market, including serving as Managing Director of an insurance company.

As Managing Director and shareholder of Broker Ins since the company was established in 1998, Stefan Enchev has played a key role in the organisational and business development of the company, including the expansion of its activities, client base and nationwide presence.

His experience across different sides of the insurance market has given him a broad perspective on the relationships between clients, brokers and insurers and on the factors behind sustainable insurance solutions.

His management approach is centred on long-term business resilience, clear responsibility towards the client and the development of stable partnerships.

In 2019, Stefan Enchev received the National Award for “Overall Contribution to the Development of Insurance Intermediation”, presented by the Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation.

He holds a Master’s degree in Systems and Control from the Technical University of Sofia. His technical education has influenced his analytical and structured approach to risk management, business processes and the application of technology in insurance.

Before the establishment of Broker Ins, Rumen Staykov gained management experience in the financial sector, including as manager of a deposit and credit cooperative. This background provided him with practical experience in financial management, client relationships and the organisation of financial services before his long-term focus shifted to insurance intermediation.

As Managing Director of Broker Ins since the company was established in 1998, he has played a leading role in its strategic development, in expanding its expertise in corporate insurance and risk management, and in building its proprietary technology environment and digital services.

His professional approach is based on the belief that the value of an insurance broker lies not only in finding the right insurance coverage, but in understanding the client’s business, identifying material risks and structuring solutions that support the organisation’s long-term resilience.

Under his leadership, Broker Ins has developed an advisory model that combines insurance expertise, risk analysis, personalised service and strong relationships across the insurance market.

A significant part of his professional focus has been the digital transformation of insurance intermediation. Broker Ins has invested in proprietary information systems, process automation and digital service channels.

In 2010, Broker Ins acquired a majority stake in the company behind 24ins.bg, marking the beginning of the development of a specialised digital channel for remote insurance servicing and distribution.

Rumen Staykov is also a founding member of INSY, an InsurTech company focused on developing technology solutions for insurance operations, product management and digital distribution.

His approach to technology is pragmatic: it should reduce administrative burden, improve efficiency and create more time for expert analysis, advisory work and high-value decision-making.
