Consumer Information under Art. 325 of the Insurance Code

Information for the User of Insurance Services under Art. 325 of the Insurance Code Broker Ins OOD is a company registered in the Commercial Register and the Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities under UIC 121773065, with registered seat and address of management in the city of Sofia, Triaditsa Municipality, 3 Karnigradska Street. Broker Ins OOD is an insurance broker entered in the public register under Art. 30, para. 1, item 12 of the Financial Supervision Commission Act, by Decision No. 499-ЗБ of 21.07.2006, under reg. No. 11-8. The registration can be verified through the Financial Supervision Commission, Sofia, 16 Budapeshta Street, or on the website of the Financial Supervision Commission, www.fsc.bg. Broker Ins OOD does not hold, directly or through related parties, more than 10% of the votes at the general meeting or of the capital of an insurer. No insurer or controlling company of an insurer holds, directly or through related parties, more than 10% of the votes at the general meeting or of the capital of Broker Ins OOD. Complaints in connection with the services provided by Broker Ins OOD, or for other reasons, may be submitted to the company's head office at the following address: Sofia, 3 Karnigradska Street, or by email to office@brokerins.bg. The complaint should state the complainant's name, personal identification number (EGN), telephone number and contact address for a response. Broker Ins responds to complaints and grievances received within 15 working days. Complaints against Broker Ins OOD and against its employees may be submitted to the Financial Supervision Commission, Insurance Supervision Division, at the following address: Sofia 1000, 16 Budapeshta Street, or by email to delovodstvo@fsc.bg. In the event of an unresolved dispute with Broker Ins OOD, any user of insurance services may also refer the matter to the Sectoral Conciliation Commission for the settlement of disputes in the field of insurance and insurance intermediation, including in the case of the provision of distance financial services in these sectors, at the following address: Sofia 1000, 1 Vrabcha Street, floors 3, 4 and 5, telephone 02/9330 565 – Head Office of the Consumer Protection Commission, and may also file a complaint by completing an online form on the website of the Consumer Protection Commission – www.kzp.bg – or in person at the regional centres of the Consumer Protection Commission across the country. Broker Ins OOD does not carry out insurance intermediation on behalf of an insurer, but represents the users of insurance services. Under the conditions provided for in the applicable legislation, Broker Ins OOD may, in its capacity as an insurance broker, provide advice regarding the insurance products it distributes, in accordance with Art. 325a, para. 5 of the Insurance Code – on the basis of a fair and personal analysis. In carrying out its activity, Broker Ins OOD receives remuneration, formed as a percentage of the insurance premium paid for the relevant policy. In certain cases, in order to cover its administrative costs, Broker Ins may also charge an additional amount, which will be payable by the users of insurance services.
