Licensing and Control Certification Activities

This insurance is the liability of individuals authorized to issue certificates, assessments, permissions, official documents, and in particular according to the requirements of the Geodesy and Cartography Act for the compulsory insurance of natural persons qualified to carry out geodesy and cartography.

Compensation for insurance is subject to:

  • Any amounts not exceeding the agreed limits of compensation that the insured is legally liable to pay as compensation for damage caused to third parties as a result of negligence, errors or omissions in the performance of his professional obligations under current regulations, such as: engineer, surveyor, valuer and other activities related to verification of circumstances, certification, licensing and control.
  • Damages are established on the basis of claims filed for the first time in writing during the period of insurance, provided that both the wrongful actions/omissions in performance of professional obligations, and the direct causal link to the claims on which they are based, have occurred since the start date of the insurance or after the retroactive date entered on the policy (if so agreed).
  • Costs of settling claims and claims made with the insurer’s consent, as agreed in the policy, also include costs for the settlement of claims.
