‘Investment Intermediaries’ Professional Liability’ Insurance is obligatory from 1st November 2007 according to the Financial Markets Instruments Act. Insurance coverage provided for by this insurance concerns the following investment services and activities:
  • Accepting and submitting orders in relation to one or more financial instruments
  • Investment research and financial analyses or other forms of general recommendations related to transactions with financial instruments.
  • Insurance events covered by the present insurance include property damages caused to investors in financial instruments which have occurred within the EU and the European Economic area.
  • All expenses related to settling claims ensuing from proven damaging circumstance, covered by the insurance, and made with the insurer’s consent, as the limits agreed in the insurance policy include the expenses on settling the claims.
