Employer’s Liability Insurance

The Employer’s Liability Insurance covers the liability of the insured in its capacity of an employer against damages caused to its employees or workers in connection with the performance of their obligations under their employment contracts.

The compensation on this insurance includes:

  • Compensation for material and/or non-material damages equal to the difference between the harm caused and the social security benefits

  • Costs incurred by the insured for medical aid or other necessary costs for reducing the damages
  • Costs incurred on litigation against the insured to establish the liability

  • Compensation also when the damages are caused:

– through the fault of the employer’s body or another employee or worker thereof
– by force majeure or in connection with performance of the work assigned or any other work carried out also without order but in the interest of the employer as well as during break hours spent in the company.
