Crop production
Different types of agricultural crops and the output thereof – fruit, field and vegetable crops, vineyards, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, nurseries, mother plantations, seedlings, flowers grown for seed and sale, crops in heated greenhouses and other crops grown for production – are insured.
The insurance covers direct quantitative damages to the harvest resulting from the following natural disasters such as: hail, storm, torrential rain, fire, frost formation, flood, freezing, withdrawal, slush, suffocation and other subject to agreement.
The sum insured is determined by mutual agreement depending on the expected yields and the market conditions in the country. The sum insured must not exceed the actual value of the agricultural output.
