Accident insurance for athletes is voluntary. Insured are Bulgarian and foreign athletes who are actively engaged in sport on an amateur or professional basis.

This insurance covers events (accidents) occurring on the territory of sports halls, stadiums and sports facilities during training and competitions.

The cost of the insurance depends on the term of the insurance, the risks involved, the sum insured and the risk class to which the practiced sport belongs.
